This is where it all started. This ewe is still with us as a very pillar of the flock. This is from 2017 and since then she has created a few sheep that have helped out the program.
She created a buck lamb which helped to produce some nice ewes for the program and now she has a very nice ewe on her. This is her as an old lady - she is confirmed to be bred again due in September.
She has a unique story behind her because when she was only a few weeks old her mother died. When her mother died she would not take a bottle so she was an orphan who didn’t grow very well. It did take until she was about three for her to flourish but she did. Each of our sheep usually have at least one story I can tell about them.
